Who we are?

We are a 501 C 3 non profit organization dedicated to preserving the American heritage of hunting and fishing.

Why

The current demographics of the American sport hunter and fisher demonstrate an  aging population of participants.  New recruitment of younger generations and other new participants  have not filled in the ranks of the aging sportsmen and women who either pass on or do not participate due to health factors or other reasons.  New hunters and fishers need to be recruited to these grand traditions.  We currently have some 15 million hunters and 30 million fishers.  If that number shrinks significantly, major changes will take place.  Without the millions of hunters and fishers to stand up and fight for their right to hunt and fish, people and organizations with an agenda to stop these good and important activities will be quick to exploit the weakness of declining numbers both legislatively as well as economically.  Most hunters and fishers do not think that their participation is important.  It is vital.  It is the economic machine that drives the North American model of wildlife management.
